About the Role
Freedom II Captains take the left seat of the Embraer 170 and lead every flight with professionalism, safety, and teamwork. From engine start to shutdown, you’ll be responsible for the safe and smooth operation of the aircraft, while working closely with your crew to deliver a great experience. As part of the Freedom II family, you’ll also play an active role in our Safety Management System and help shape the culture that makes our airline a great place to fly.
Specific Responsibilities and Duties
Serve as Pilot-in-Command of the Embraer 170, ensuring the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
Lead and support your crew to maintain effective communication and collaboration in the cockpit.
Manage pre-flight planning, aircraft performance checks, and fuel requirements.
Coordinate with operations and maintenance to ensure smooth, efficient flights.
Make sound operational decisions while prioritizing safety and passenger comfort.
Represent Freedom II with professionalism in all aspects of your work.
Requirements
FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate with multi-engine privileges.
EMB-170 type rating.
3,000+ total flight hours, including 1,000+ hours PIC.
Current First-Class Medical Certificate.
Solid knowledge of Part 121 operations.
Strong leadership, judgment, and communication skills.
A collaborative mindset and the ability to perform well in a demanding operational environment.
Eligible to work in the United States and travel unrestricted to international destinations.
